Saturday Morning

I spent this morning filming and working on a small Butterfly Eyes Painting.  The painting is on wood panel.  Usually I use canvas.  This painting will be offered on Etsy, at SkyesArtShop,

Fridays Events

First I picked up my painting from the gallery.  It is safe and back home.

Last, I did some more work on the flowers in my most recent painting.  Lots of details.

Here is a picture of my birthday gift, a Mega Munny.  I started paintings it, and should do some work  this weekend.

Discovered some unfinished business

I was digging though my canvases trying to locate a sketch pad and came across some paintings I started a couple of years ago.  It was interesting to see early development of my obsession with butterflies with eyes and Tattooed Vixens.  Pictures are below.  

I also collected a large bundle of completed and incomplete work to be stored in the Art Storage Unit.  I will take pictures of my unit.   It is a little intense.  There must be over 100 paintings in it, and they are not small.

Also on the agenda today is going to the Pacific Art Gallery to collect my painting front the  Face and Figure Show.

Thursday's Recap

Today I did a tiny  bit of work on my painting, almost completed the Butterfly Vinyl, and finished the Ukulele.  I also sketched out a small painting.

Thursdays Work Thus Far

I did more work on my Butterfly Munny.  I might have time to do more later.  It will most likely be completed and available by next week.

Did more work on the Ukulele.  This should be complete by the end of the day and will be sold on Etsy, SkyesArtShop.

I still need to do more work on my painting, and I will start a small butterfly painting.  

Tuesday night this week I attended my first Dr. Sketchy.  It was a lot of fun.  Great vibe, great music, great model.  I need to practice my live sketching before the next one in September.

Tomorrow I will be picking up my painting at the Pacific Art Gallery.  I will be in this gallery again come January.

If more work is done today, pictures will be posted this evening.

Work from today

I did get some work done today.  I also posted a new item on my Etsy shop.  Another new item will be added tomorrow.

Art Update

Currently my top projects are a hand painted Ukulele a Kidrobot Munny, and a Catrina painting.  The photos in this blog are all three projects thus far. 

I may also be starting a mini Munny, skate deck, and a new mini painting for the Etsy shop.  Look back in the next few days to capture photos of projects in the beginning stages.

New Painting for Etsy

I completed a second miniature bird painting for Etsy.  It is very cute, and available.  The canvas is a nice chunky gallery wrap baby.

I did get some work done today.  I also posted a new item on my Etsy shop.  Another new item will be added tomorrow.

What is happening....

I have been working all summer on paintings and ideas.  Began painting a Mega Munny, and I am currently being shown in the Pacific Art Gallery in Palo Alto.  I am busily working on a Catrina for Dios De Los Muertos.  Pictured will follow shortly.  Titles  and items have been revamped and added to Skye's Art Shop on Etsy.  Please stop by and browse.
